- XML Menu departs from traditional client-side DHTML menus that require users to supply menu data for every single page of their website in the form of unordered list elements. Instead, XML Menu generates data that is kept in a standards-compliant, external XML file, making it both easy-to-modify and validate. Menu presentation information is kept in external CSS files. This fulfills the ultimate goal of web development purists, since XML Menu provides both full-standardization and full separation of content from presentation.
XML Menu provides full search engine support through the standardized XML Sitemap protocol.
XML Menu does not require Flash or any other plug-in. It is completely client-based, and does not require any server-side software. XML data is loaded via AJAX, which is native to all browsers in use today.
XML Menu Builder comes with an easy-to-use-wizard for creating menus.
