Redtie Weather
- Redtie Weather is a free PHP weather script based on the free XML service provided by The Weather Channel (weather.com). It uses custom XML feed to get current conditions and 10 day forecasts for any location in the weather.com database. It has a built in location search engine. Using the free Yahoo maps API, it shows current conditions for a list of cities selected by the user. It is easy to integrate into any design: header, footer and CSS fully configurable. It caches the information for one hour, after which it updates it so as not to strain server bandwidth. Includes weather conditions icons, metric or standard measuring units. No database needed.
