- RIMPS is a web-based frontend, written in PHP, to make Apache an MP3 server. It''s comlete with searching, individual song playing, and playlist creation. Think of it as a personal mp3.com of your own MP3s, plus playlists. RIMPS uses PHP to dynamically generate webpages and playlists from the SQL database. The MP3s are then streamed by the webserver. Currently, PostgreSQL and MySQL are supported.
